DriveSathi facilitates connections between customers and eligible professional drivers for customer-owned vehicles. DriveSathi does not provide a taxi or rental vehicle.

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate information and protect access to your account. Drivers must complete the required payment, document review and approval before receiving bookings.

Bookings and fares

A booking is confirmed through its status in the platform. Estimates may include base, time, distance, night and car-category charges. The final fare will not be lower than the accepted estimate and may increase for actual extra time or distance.

Customer responsibilities

Customers are responsible for a roadworthy vehicle, registration, insurance, fuel, tolls, parking and lawful instructions. Outstation food and accommodation may be payable separately where disclosed.

Payments, gateway and accepted methods

Online payments on DriveSathi are processed by PayU. When you pay, your card number, CVV, UPI ID/PIN, net-banking and wallet credentials are entered on PayU's RBI-authorised, PCI-DSS-compliant payment page and are handled by PayU and its partner banks. DriveSathi does not collect or store your card, CVV, UPI PIN or wallet credentials.

Where an online payment is required (for example the driver verification fee or a commission), the amount is collected in Indian Rupees through DriveSathi's PayU merchant account.

Accepted methods depend on PayU's live checkout and may include:

Making a payment means you confirm the amount and agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

• Debit cards and debit-card EMI
• UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm and any UPI app) and UPI Autopay mandates
• Net banking from major Indian banks
• Popular wallets (Paytm, PhonePe, Amazon Pay and more)
• Credit-card EMI and Cardless EMI
• Buy Now, Pay Later (where offered by PayU)

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation charges may apply according to the policy shown before booking. Eligible refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which also states the applicable timelines and process.

Conduct and account restrictions

Customers and drivers must behave lawfully and respectfully. DriveSathi may restrict or deactivate accounts for safety, fraud, non-payment or repeated policy violations.

Payments and disputes

Payment status is recorded against the booking. Report billing or service concerns through support with the booking or payment reference so the team can investigate. Unresolved concerns can be escalated to the Grievance Officer named in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Pune, Maharashtra, India.
