Payment gateway
Online payments on DriveSathi are processed by PayU. When you pay, your card number, CVV, UPI ID/PIN, net-banking and wallet credentials are entered on PayU's RBI-authorised, PCI-DSS-compliant payment page and are handled by PayU and its partner banks. DriveSathi does not collect or store your card, CVV, UPI PIN or wallet credentials.
DriveSathi uses PayU Payments Private Limited ("PayU") as its payment gateway / payment aggregator. PayU is an RBI-authorised payment aggregator and processes card, UPI, net-banking and wallet payments on its PCI-DSS-compliant page.
Accepted payment methods
The methods offered at checkout depend on PayU's live configuration and your bank. They may include:
- Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, American Express)
- Debit cards and debit-card EMI
- UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm and any UPI app) and UPI Autopay mandates
- Net banking from major Indian banks
- Popular wallets (Paytm, PhonePe, Amazon Pay and more)
- Credit-card EMI and Cardless EMI
- Buy Now, Pay Later (where offered by PayU)
What we never store
We receive only a payment reference/transaction ID and the payment status from PayU so we can confirm your order. Card data, where saved for a repeat payment, is tokenised by PayU in line with RBI tokenisation rules — not by DriveSathi.
- Full card numbers and CVV
- UPI PINs and UPI passwords
- Net-banking passwords or OTPs
- Wallet credentials
Currency and charges
All amounts are charged in Indian Rupees (INR). The amount payable is shown before you confirm the payment. Any applicable convenience fee, if introduced, will be displayed at checkout before payment.
Refunds and failed payments
Eligible refunds are credited to the original payment method and typically reflect within 5–21 days, depending on the issuing bank. Failed-but-debited transactions are auto-refunded by PayU to the original method. See the full Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
