Information we collect
Driver onboarding includes your identity documents (Aadhaar, PAN, driving licence), profile photo, mobile number, vehicle-expertise information, verification and commission payment references, and live location during active ride stages.
Payment and financial information
Online payments on DriveSathi are processed by PayU. When you pay, your card number, CVV, UPI ID/PIN, net-banking and wallet credentials are entered on PayU's RBI-authorised, PCI-DSS-compliant payment page and are handled by PayU and its partner banks. DriveSathi does not collect or store your card, CVV, UPI PIN or wallet credentials.
This applies to the verification fee and any commission you pay online. DriveSathi receives only your payment reference and status; we do not receive or store your card, CVV, UPI PIN or wallet credentials.
How we use information
We use information to verify your eligibility, match you with bookings, share your live location with the assigned customer for active rides, process verification and commission payments, deliver notifications, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.
Location and sharing
Your location is used for dispatch and safety. Your live location and driving details are shared only with the customer assigned to your active ride, from the driver-leaving stage through the ride. Your identity documents are visible only to DriveSathi verification staff.
Storage, retention and security
We limit access to authorized employees and service providers, use reasonable technical safeguards, and retain information only as long as needed for operations, safety, disputes and applicable law.
Your choices, rights and consent
You may contact DriveSathi to request access, correction or deletion of eligible information, and to withdraw optional consent. Outstanding commission must be settled and legal retention periods may apply before closure is processed.
